Parry McCluer Middle School will provide each student a diverse education in a safe and supportive environment that promotes responsibility, moral character, and collaboration. We will continually reflect upon and respond to the needs of all learners as we strive to acquire the skills, attitudes and knowledge to be creative problem solvers, reflective thinkers and caring citizens of a global community.

Principal's Message

 

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year.  I have been a member of the Buena Vista City School family for 41years and I am extremely blessed to serve our "Blues family"  as principal of Parry McCluer Middle School. 

 
I am so proud of our staff and students for the awesome scores achieved on SOL's last year.  This was a direct result of the hard work by PMMS staff and students, the support of our parents, and a creative hybrid schedule. We are very appreciative of the effort and teamwork of the students, teachers, and parents. Our goal for the 2021-2022 school year is to maintain our accreditation through hard work and perseverance. 

I encourage all parents to be active in our Parent Advisory Committee. We have many activities planned for this school year and I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year with any and all of our endeavors.

We, PMMS faculty and staff,  strive to provide a safe and productive learning environment that will enhance our students' ability to excel in all facets of his or her life.
